While the government so strongly objects to LGBT and everything related to it, it should also take the same stance towards racism.
Racism is something which has long existed among us, though many choose to deny it.
Though we are a multi-racial society, sadly there are still a number of racists living among us who must be weeded out.
With this in mind, I find it totally disgusting that the so-called “Unity” government would actually pick someone who is clearly a racist to stand as a candidate in the state elections.
It is sad that in today’s society and with so many Indian professionals here and around the world, someone can actually label us as “India estet”.
Just what does that mean? So what if in those days we toiled and worked hard in the estates. At least we made an honest living and earned each and every cent through our own hard work and sweat.
This kind of individual should not be recognised and by right, action should be taken against him by the political party concerned.
Instead, PKR regards him by naming him as a candidate in the state elections.
This is absolutely ridiculous and reflects very poorly on the party and its leaders.
As an Indian voter, I am utterly disgusted and urge all peace-loving Malaysians to totally reject such personalities.
These are nothing more than trouble-makers and should certainly not be a people’s representative.
