Malaysians are borrowing too much, not saving enough

There is a concern that Malaysians are borrowing too much and not saving enough, according to a report by Khazanah Research Institute.

While household debt growth has been moderating since 2010 (2015: 7.3% year-on-year), the ratio of household debt to gross domestic product remains high, at 89.1%
